“As we grow older, it becomes difficult to just believe.
It's not that we don't want to,
but too much has happened that we just can't.”

First birth ... the mother's labor was induced at 39 weeks because
her obstetrician was concerned that if the baby grew any larger,
he would not fit through her pelvis.
After a "failed induction" and delivery by cesarean,
the Mother was told the reason for the cesarean was
CPD (cephalopelvic disproportion) due to the large size of her baby.
He was 9 pounds even.
.
Two years later ... a second birth ... different obstetrician
encouraged her to try a VBAC (vaginal birth after a previous cesarean)
After 4 hours of labor and 45 minutes of pushing,
the Mother vaginally delivered another beautiful baby boy
who weighed ELEVEN POUNDS SEVEN OUNCES!
.
Congratulations J and J!
You did it!
