Four years ago, Jennifer gave birth to her first baby by cesarean.
Four years ago, Jennifer gave birth to her first baby by cesarean.
Jennifer's previous obstetrician informed her and Dan that, after the "failed induction"
and the cesarean delivery of their 9 lb. 10 oz. baby girl,
she would not ever be able to vaginally deliver a future baby
that weighed over 5 lbs.

Their second daughter, who was vaginally born today
after 20 minutes of pushing ...
weighed
NINE POUNDS TWO OUNCES and is TWENTY TWO INCHES LONG!
Thank you to Dr. Gramann and Enumclaw Hospital for continuing
to believe that "Birth is as safe as life gets."

"My heart can't stop dancing and there is a permanent smile on mine and Dan's face. What a difference when there is love, support, strength, guidance, prayer and peace (I could go on). Patti, you are so wonderfully amazing. We feel so incredibly blessed you and Jennifer could be with us for the moment that we will forever draw so much from. I am looking forward to writing out more thoughts, but for now new momma duty gently calls :)

Amazing Jenn! You are incredible! Only 20 minutes of pushing>>> OMG!!! You have such a powerful uterus!!!! (but we already know that haha) Can you believe Blue was 9.2 and 22" too? that is super weird and super cool. Hugs to you and Dan, and congrats to Big Sis Delaney! The baby is beautiful; the pic on the scale is gorgeous--she is so big and perfect.
